Did some explorations for iDid, M.I.T-I.D's Design Store. They needed some badge-designs. I'm not done yet, but these are the roughs. Will paint them digitally later.

Gestures done mostly in class..We had a new Acting course conducted by an external faculty named K.Krishnarajan. Most of them are him explaining stuff to us and us listening. The theory was SUPER boring, but when we got into the practical work it was amazing fun! Did a zombie apocalypse-play with the twist of a 'pill' that can make you look like one.

Day 2 after returning to college - I used up all the things I learned from babe lab and decided to attempt at super foreshortening and go crazy with it! Here's some of the best of my gestures. :D I'm pretty happy with 'em.

Day 16 - Learning from other artists

Practiced some designs drawn by Nico Marlet (one of my fav. character designers) from the Art of Kung Fu Panda 2 of an antelope. Learnt a lot about expressions and turning the face around.. I definitely need to caricature and practice drawing animals more!!


This one's a drawing I really really liked, was a concept character for the pixar short - Geri's Game.

Hmm! Feels weird to write 2012! :-s
My last project JH post was shamefully exactly 10 days ago, since I'm making this post for the 9th of Jan. Found this amazing website that teaches and helps pin up artists, animators etc. to draw women - because are exceptionally difficult. It's called babe-lab! (for 18+) So here's some of the stuff I practiced out of it. :)

Happy New Year!

Hello everyone, and a very happy belated New Year! Now although it didn't feel so new to me, it's a fresh start, and we have to make our classroom project films this semester! So watchout for that! This sem is gonna be busy and I'll allow myself to immerse in it.
Now besides all of that, I'll be working on my gestures regularly, it's all started in full force with our entire animation batch! See you guys soon! :)
